This Apple MacBook "Core 2 Duo" 2.4 13-Inch (Unibody - Late 2008/Aluminum) was the top spec at the time with a 2.4 GHz Intel "Core 2 Duo" processor (P8600), a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M "graphics processor with 256 MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory", integrated iSight, and an LED-backlit 13.3" widescreen TFT active-matrix "glossy" display (1280x800 native resolution). The 2 Gbyte was upgraded to 4 GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (PC3-8500) and the 250 GB Serial ATA (5400 RPM) hard drive, was upgraded to a 320GB 7200 rpm drive. The 8X DL "SuperDrive" failed within the fist year (as they do on most Macs) so instead of replacing it I installed a second SATA hard drive (160GB 5400rpm). You can use any external USB DVD drive even to boot from.
Connectivity includes AirPort Extreme (802.11a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 2.0 ports, optical digital/analog audio in/out, and a "Mini DisplayPort" that supports an external display at 2560x1600. It does not include a Firewire "400" port.
In addition to the new case design, compared to the "Early 2008/Penryn" models that these replaced, the "Unibody" line offered a new "no button" glass "multi-touch" trackpad with support for new "four finger" gestures and programmable "zones", a faster architecture with a faster system bus, faster memory, and a faster graphics processor, as well as an LED-backlit display. This model also has a backlit keyboard, whereas the lower-end configuration does not.
The machine is setup as a triple boot system with Yosemite, Win 10 and Ubuntu 14.04. I can do a clean install of OS-X Yosemite if you like. This machine is up-gradable to Siera.
The MacBook is in excellent condition since it was used only as a backup machine and has recently had a new genuine apple battery install with a cycle count of only 8! Comes with charger only, lost the box etc. a long time ago. Only issue I know about is that the trackpad works fine but you have to press a little hard to "click"; you can of course tap it instead or use an external mouse as I have always done. Someone said there is an adjustment screw behind the battery but I have never bothered with it.
Price is Baht 10,500 and you can call or SMS 0870 919 909. Can meet along the Sukumvit BTS etc.
