Primary ESL Materials Developer (Part time)
The Volunteers Without Borders Foundation is looking for an experienced ESL Primary School teacher (active or retired), with the skills to develop detailed lesson plans and communicative
materials for Grade 4 learners in a semi-rural setting. Students will be drawn from a number of schools in the surrounding area. The lessons, focusing predominantly on oral skills, are intended to supplement and complement the school curriculum. Lessons can be developed off-site but the developer should be computer literate and based in the Chiang Mai area.
Grade 4 ESL Teachers ( Part Time)
We are also looking for experienced ESL Primary School teachers (active or retired), who would be willing to teach Grade 4 students drawn from a number of different schools. The programme will last for the duration of the Thai Government terms and will be run on Saturdays in a semi-rural area, just outside Chiang Mai. Teachers could work for the length of the programme or become part of a pool of teachers on rotation.
The Volunteers Without Borders foundation - Sanpatong, Chiang Mai, has a vacancy for a part time
project manager/instructor to oversee the development of its small scale sustainable agriculture
programme (vermiculture, aquaponics, vertical gardens, nursery, greenhouse, bee keeping, etc.)
The projects, on our small farm in Sanpatong, are to be used as demonstration projects for volunteers
and for locals joining our outreach programme, as well as for training courses taught to interested Thai
and foreign residents alike.
The job allows for flexible working hours/days, and is fairly hands on. Would suit a retiree with a keen
interest in sustainable agriculture. A compensation and work permit package with/without accommodation
onsite is available.
